Email Forwarder Question
My name is Rory Hochstein. I working a computer back up business, and I’m interested in one of the software products you sell, “Email Forwarder.” I’m curious if this product allows me, with a Google Suite account, to set-up email forwarding to an unlimited number of addresses (in our case approx. 1,400)?
For example, we have a big problem created by past novice developers where when our customers request a password reset, instead of the password reset email going to the customer’s personal email address, it goes to our Gmail inbox because the customer created an account with our email domain. Here’s a hypothetical example:
Bob signed up for a computer backup account, and the form he used required a @xyzbackup.com domain. So he enters firstname.lastname@example.org. His personal email address though is email@example.com. When Bob requests a password reset, the password reset email goes to firstname.lastname@example.org, and the catchall domain @xyzbackup.com gets the password reset email and not email@example.com. The staff who work at @xyzbackup.com then have to manually forward the email to firstname.lastname@example.org if he is ever going to get the password reset email.
If the above example makes sense (and please let me know if you need more clarity), does your product allow me to surpass Gmail’s 20 forwarding email limit without verification on the end receiver? For example, I would want the software to do something like this:
I did attempt to run the software, Email Forwarder, as a test with one email address, but it will not auto-forward emails unless I press the “Run” button manually. I would need this software to run automatically in the background once every minute. Can you please let me know if this is possible or not? It’s a big mess we’re attempting to fix. I’m happy to pay for your time, simply please let me know what steps I can take if a solution is possible.
Thanks in advance,
